Earth is Calling Are you in it
Earth is calling. When you read this, you might be thinking what I am going to say. I just wanted to say, save Earth. If you are enjoying your life now, it is because of God’s creation in developing a natural life for all people. But natural environment destruction has become so predominant these days that our future generation will miss all the fun we have now. It is our responsibility to be part of change and bring in few things into our day to day life to bring re-cycling of natural resources thus giving a helping hand in our change. This article focuses on few things which we can do as part of our day to day living and be a part of change “Earth is Calling”.
We know Earth Day falls on April 22nd and I just wanted to few things that we can do to be a part of saving Earth for us as well as for our future generation.
1. Use Natural Resources wisely. Especially water which is one of the god’s most important gift. Try to recycle water as much as possible. Use Water wisely.
2. I have stopped taking printouts. Most of my work now happens mostly in E-mails. All my phone bills, net bills and banking operations are now operated through E-mails. Save Paper. Even a single paper is valuable. Take printouts wisely. Tell the importance of paper to others if they are using it for useless purpose.
3. Maintaining organic waste is one important things. Even though, it is difficult to maintain organic and inorganic waste, I suggest trying once in your home. Educate your fellow employees advantage of Organic waste and how it helps in recycling of natural resources. Small small things bring a lot of change.
4. Does your office has paper shredders. Do you have any papers which are staying in your desks from long which are of no use. Suggest to clean your desk with paper shredders. It not only helps confidentiality of your previous papers, but also helps in recycling of paper.
5. Does your office maintain bio-waste and other waste differently. If not, ask them to start maintaining them. Not only your office, even the waste collector of your home should maintain it. Try to give him bio waste separately which can be re-cycled. It can help him to differentiate both of them.

There are many NGOs that are supporting Earth Day and preserving natural resources. One such NGO is Green Yatra, an NGO dedicated to conservation and protection of nature, is supporting the effort.
