How I achieved a successful career goal
India is one of the fastest developing countries in web. Thanks to the IT boom, now India has been one of the largest IT developing countries. IT and Telecom Application development has always been one of the dreams I always loved to be part of right from childhood.
I was very good in studies right from childhood and I always loved to learn new things and tricks that can help in getting front in competitive exams. After a good amount of hard work and dedication that have been put in my studies in 10+2, I was able to qualify for EAMCET with rank of 1887. I got into one of the top Engineering colleges in Computer Science group and thought my goal would be achieved. This was the beginning of my higher studies. Unfortunately due to business losses for my family, I had to stop my engineering in my second year itself. And my dreams became shattered as I had no more money to continue my studies.
This didn’t stop my interest in becoming an Engineer. I continued my quest to become an engineer by starting correspondence in BCOM computers and started working in a small company to manage my finances and family. Within three years my graduation was complete and started a small departmental store with the help of my father. Once I completed my BCOM, I came to know that for studying MCA, I need to apply for ICET entrance for which I was never trained. Luckily, the last date for filling application was 5 days later and I was able to apply for ICET.
My EAMCET training came handy here and I purchased Apollo Question Bank and started preparing for ICET exam. My efforts didn’t go waste and I secured 95th rank out of 1,10,000 candidates in my state. There was no limits for my happiness because my savings were just enough for a government college. And since my rank was so good, I got into one of the top universities in Andhra Pradesh. Since it is one of the top universities in India, I got campus placed from two top Multi National companies in my second year of MCA. If I look back in my previous years, the thing that was most challenging was the survival and completion of degree which was a stepping stone for my success in MCA.
In final year of my MCA during my last semester, I had the time to work with HSBC, one of the top companies in Vizag. Even though I got into one of the top companies, I wanted to become a software engineer from beginner rather than customer service executive. So I continued in this company till I got joining for my software company which came after 8 months of my MCA completion as it was a recession time at that time.
I finished in the top 5 of my college in MCA and also was able to help my father in business. So this achievement is one of the most memorable achievements in my life. After that there was no looking back.
I have been working in one of the top telecom companies in India from past 6.5 years, and with my savings was able to purchase a new home for my parents. I always cherish the past moments and thought to share to all my blog readers about my success story. Looking forward to listen to your stories as well.
