How it feels buying dream home for parents
On this holi day, I am happy that finally I could get a house for my parents. Having a own house for our loved ones makes us very much happy. It takes a moment of effort and happiness when we achieve something successful.
Ours used to a combined family with my grandparents, my father along with his 4 brothers and sister. All my fathers’ siblings were married and used to stay together.
My father being the second smallest was one of the youngest in the family. In my childhood, I was the happiest being the most liked kid.
I used to go daily with my grandfather for a walk, and used to be the most naughty person. Not only was I funny, but also very clever. I got a double promotion in the first standard directly to class three because of my cleverness. But as the days progress, my combined family became separated as all my father’s brothers moved to different cities.
My father was the youngest and started his own business. To be frank, we were not so much rich and we used to have a small departmental store that is sufficient for my family. My sister joined my family and my father used to bring us whatever is required. But being a small business, the dream of getting our own home never was possible.
One thing I should really be happy about now is the way my parents helped me in the position that I am now. Never they stopped mine or my sister studies even though we had many difficulties along. Even though we had a small business, my father always asked us to study higher and become self independent.
In my degree, I used to help my father and used to continue my studies. I can say one thing after looking back that I never felt that I have missed any enjoyment in any point of life. Even though I had to face tough situations during my career growth, these were the stepping stones for my success.
I understood the importance of family, loved ones and the value of time. Not only money is the sole thing that is needed in life. We need to have a few people who remember and love to spend time with us. Also I understood the importance of my parents and my sister who have helped me in bringing brightness in my future.
After completing Masters in computer Applications, I had the opportunity to work with top telecom company in India. I am still working in the same company from the past 6 years. After 6 years of savings, finally I have the chance to purchase a house for my parents in my home town.
