A Farewell to remember
Farewell Feeling
Farewell is one thing which is something that is very much important when loved ones departs from us. If we don’t organize them well, the one leaving you will never be happy.
Some moments which I would love to cherish on my first farewell after 7.5 years working in a company.
In the morning, its very hard to get out to office thinking its the last day in company. From tomorrow you might not be knowing what to do on a week day.
You might be missing something important has gone away. Even though how hard you tried keeping your best friends away months before leaving company, it would be difficult to leave them. I tried keeping my best buddies away from me by starting a silly fight and stopped going lunch two months before.
Everything went as per my plan. They started doing their own parties. Even though it was killing me, I wanted it to happen so that atleast they will not feel that I am moving away from them. But on relieving, in spite of doing all these, I couldn’t control my emotions.
They gave me a wonderful farewell card with full of encouraging words. I know I have missed their best words and their love by keeping them away, but still it’s better because I am moving away.
It is good I was stuck in the exit formalities and couldn’t attend the farewell party and could only collect the card from my best buddies. If I would have to give my farewell speech, I would have break down into tears. I might not have controlled myself.
It’s said that sometimes it’s better not to become so close. Otherwise you will be stuck. And getting stuck in a place where everyone respects your work is fine.
But it’s good to have farewell and listen and read everyone talking about us. Giving farewell speech should be tough. But I will try out next time.
There are many farewells a head from my other group of friends all across.
Some things you shouldn’t forget on your last day. Share your gratitude during your last day mail for all who helped you.
Try to individually meet everyone and share few words.
